What is a Profile Boost?

A Profile Boost temporarily places your profile at the very top of the Discover feed for everyone in your area. During an active boost, more people see your profile — leading to more views, more likes, and faster matches.

Think of it as giving your profile a prime spot in the feed for 30 minutes, just like a featured listing.

What a Boost Does

Your card appears first in the Discover feed — above all non-boosted profiles.
More people see your profile during peak hours.
Typically results in significantly more profile views and likes during the 30-minute window.
The boost is invisible to other users — they just see your profile appearing prominently, not that it's boosted.

💡 Best time to boost: Activate a boost during peak hours when the most people are online — typically evenings (7–10 PM local time) on weekdays, and mid-morning on weekends. You'll get the most views for your 30 minutes.

How to Activate a Boost

Go to your Boost credits
Look for the ⚡ Boost button in your sidebar or on the Discover page. It shows your current boost credit count.

Tap "Boost My Profile"
If you have boost credits, tapping the button immediately starts a 30-minute boost session.

Watch the timer
An active boost shows a countdown timer next to the Boost button. Your profile is pinned to the top of everyone's Discover feed until the timer runs out.

Once activated, a boost cannot be paused or cancelled — the 30 minutes runs whether you're online or not. Activate it when you're ready to respond to likes and messages.

Welcome Boost 🎁

When you first subscribe to a Silver or Gold plan, you automatically receive a Welcome Boost — a free boost credit as a gift to help you launch your premium experience.

The Welcome Boost works exactly like a regular boost credit. It's applied to your account immediately upon subscribing and appears in your boost balance. Use it when you're ready — it doesn't expire.

Buying More Boost Credits

When you run out of boost credits, you can purchase more from the subscription or boost page. Boost credits are sold individually or in bundles — bundles offer a lower per-boost cost.

Can I boost if I'm on the Free plan?

Yes. Boost credits can be purchased by any user regardless of plan. However, the Welcome Boost (free credit) is only available to Silver and Gold subscribers when they first subscribe.

Do boost credits expire?

No, boost credits do not expire. They stay in your account until you use them, even if you change or cancel your plan.

Can I stack multiple boosts at once?

No. Only one boost can be active at a time. If you activate a second boost while one is already running, it will start after the current one expires.

Why didn't I get many views from my boost?
