How do I create a myteeb account?

Visit myteeb.com/register, fill in your first name, email, date of birth, gender, country, and create a password. Complete the math captcha and click Create Account. You will receive a verification email.

How do I log in to myteeb?

Go to myteeb.com/login and enter your email and password. You can also log in with your Google account by clicking "Continue with Google".

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes. The link expires after 1 hour.

How do I set up my profile after signing up?

After logging in, go to My Profile (the person icon in the sidebar). Add your profile photo, write a bio, fill in your details tab (height, relationship goal, religion, etc.) and pick up to 10 interests that represent you.

Creating Your Account

Signing up for myteeb is free and takes under two minutes. Here's how:

Go to the registration page
Visit https://myteeb.com/register or click Sign Up on the homepage.

Fill in your details
Enter your first name, email address, date of birth (must be 18+), gender, and country. Choose a secure password of at least 8 characters.

Complete the captcha
Solve the quick math question to confirm you're not a bot.

Click "Create Account"
You'll be sent a verification email. Check your inbox (and spam folder).

Verify your email
Click the link in the email to activate your account. The link is valid for 24 hours. You can request a new one from the login page if it expires.

💡 Tip: You must be at least 18 years old to use myteeb. Date of birth cannot be changed after registration.

Logging In

Once your account is verified, log in at https://myteeb.com/login.

Enter your email and password
Use the email address you registered with and the password you set.

Tick "Remember me"
Checking this box keeps you logged in for 30 days on that device — useful if it's your personal device.

You'll land on the Discover page and you're ready to go.

Forgot Your Password?

No worries — resetting your password is quick:

Click the link, enter a new password (8+ characters), and save. The link expires after 1 hour.

Signing in with Google

myteeb supports one-click Google sign-in. This is the easiest way to get started if you have a Google account.

Select your Google account
Authorise myteeb to access your name and email. We never post anything to your Google account.

Complete your profile (new users only)
If this is your first time, you'll be asked to set your date of birth, gender, country, and username before entering the app.

💡 Note: Google accounts don't have a myteeb password by default. You can add one later in Account Settings → Change Password if you ever want to log in with email & password too.

Email Verification

myteeb requires all new accounts to verify their email address. This protects the community from fake accounts.

If you didn't receive the verification email:

Check your spam or junk folder.
Make sure you entered the correct email address when signing up.
Go to the login page and click "Resend verification email".
If the email still doesn't arrive, contact our support team.

Setting Up Your Profile for the First Time

A complete profile gets significantly more attention. After your first login, head to My Profile and fill in each tab:

Add your profile photo (the most important thing — profiles with photos receive up to 5× more likes). Write a bio (up to 500 characters) that tells people who you are. Add your city for better local discovery.

📋 Details Tab

Fill in extra information: height, relationship goal (dating, friendship, something casual, marriage), religion, smoking, wants children — these power the smart discovery filters other members use to find people like you.

🏷️ Interests Tab

Pick up to 10 interests from a curated list of 35+ tags (travel, fitness, music, gaming, cooking, etc.). Shared interests are highlighted when someone views your profile — great conversation starters.

💡 Pro tip: Profiles with a photo, bio, and at least 5 interests are displayed with a higher priority in the discovery feed. Take 2 minutes to complete everything — it makes a real difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use myteeb without verifying my email?

No. Email verification is required before you can log in. This keeps the community safe and ensures real people are connecting with each other.

How old do I need to be to use myteeb?

You must be at least 18 years old. Accounts belonging to minors will be permanently removed.

Can I change my date of birth after signing up?

Date of birth cannot be changed after account creation. If you entered it incorrectly, please contact support.

I signed up with Google — can I also log in with email and password?

Yes. Go to Settings → Change Password, set a password, and from then on you can log in either way.

Why can't I log in? It says "email not verified".

You need to click the verification link in the email we sent when you registered. Go to the login page and click "Resend verification email" if you need a new one.
